This golden era of Kansas City Chiefs football continues this weekend with their fifth Super Bowl appearance in the last six seasons. The team is trying to do something no other NFL franchise has done in the  Super Bowl era, win three in a row. They are one game away from history.

Chiefs fans have lived all the flavors of seasons. Great teams that fell short in the playoffs. Squads that underachieved. Flat bad teams, Stout defenses, productive running backs and shaky kickers. Those teams were almost always entertaining and equally frustrating.

Week after week, season after season, the fans kept coming. Kept hoping and encouraging the team forward.
