One of the most popular and widely-available baby snacks is now under an urgent recall in both Missouri and Illinois due to a dangerous choking hazard.
The Food and Drug Administration just dropped this bulletin about why Gerber is recalling several popular baby snacks. The company has learned that the following 3 products pose a potential choking hazard for babies and young children and all were widely available in Missouri and Illinois:

The bulletin says that not only are these baby snacks under an urgent recall, but they have also been discontinued by Gerber. The report says that this recall and discontinuation has happened after many choking complaints from families and at least one emergency room visit.
If you find that you have these Gerber snacks, you can return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Check out the full FDA bulletin for more details.
