Illinois Woman Forgot About Lottery Ticket, Then it Blew Her Mind

Have you ever picked up a lottery ticket and then tossed it somewhere and forgot about it? One woman in Illinois just did that, but her mind was blown when she finally circled back to take a look at it again.

Quite a story that ABC 30 Action News just shared. They say that a woman in Elmhurst, Illinois stopped in this Jewel Osco on October 20, 2024 running errands and bought a lottery ticket on an impulse.

She then proceeded to toss the lottery ticket in her purse and go on with the rest of her day. She didn't even think about it until days later when she came across the ticket in her purse and decided to check the numbers which were 2-3-24-25-28.

Her eyes nearly bulged out of her head when she realized that she was holding a MILLION DOLLAR TICKET!

The Elmhurst, Illinois woman has not divulged her name for obvious reasons, but the story says her winnings will enable her to travel the world - all because of a nearly forgotten ticket she just picked up spur of the momet.

This just in. She's likely having a better day than the rest of us now.
