Two of Missouri's most famous citizens were victims of burglaries according to multiple sources. Both Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce had their mansions broken into with thousands of dollars stolen.

TMZ Sports broke the story of what went down in the ritzy Kansas City, Missouri neighborhood of Loch Lloyd in early October. According to the report, after the Kansas City Chiefs played the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football on October 7, 2024, both Mahomes and Kelce stayed in a Kansas City hotel. Now we know the reason why.

The report says Cass County police confirm that Patrick Mahomes mansion in Belton, Missouri was broken into just after midnight on October 6, 2024. It wasn't long after that when Travis Kelce's mansion which is located in the same Missouri neighborhood was also burglarized.

The police have not divulged if anything was taken out of Patrick Mahomes place, but the report says Travis Kelce had $20,000 in cash taken.

Yahoo News is now quoting Patrick Mahomes responding to his home burglary saying ""Obviously, it's frustrating...It's disappointing." He added, "It's something you don't want to happen to anyone, but especially to yourself."

As investigations have been underway to learn how the perpetrators were able to enter both lavish estates, these burglaries were kept quiet until TMZ broke the story.

As this is a developing story, it will be updated if new details are released about who pulled off these burglaries and if any additional items were stolen.
