We had a very mild winter and now I think we are about to pay for it. The Farmers Almanac is predicting the Midwest to have a sizzling scorcher summer.

Plan on very changeable and possibly severe thunderstorms on Friday as both Missouri and Illinois are in the danger zone for what is expected to be a fast-moving system capable of producing tornadoes and severe wind events.

If you don't have an umbrella handy, might want to get one. The weather nerds are saying there's a real good chance it will rain hard on parts of Missouri and Illinois beginning Thursday night.

We're not technically into Spring yet, but a peek ahead to what Farmer's Almanac is predicting for Missouri's upcoming summer is a little bit terrifying.
